Since taking the "blogging" class I have started using it to post homework and use it as a place where students can go to for help. Within this past week it has been helpful for those of my algebra students who have posted questions about their homework. If they have internet access or if their buddy does, there should be no excuse as to not knowing how to do their homework. What I did find helpful is to put a time limit that they can post up until because I'm not going to be up all night. See the deal is, post no later than 8 PM and I'll answer their question.
